SUPERWOOD is made from high-quality Nordic spruce, a type of wood that the traditional pressure-treatment cannot impregnate in depth. The wood comes from sustainable forest and is therefore an environmetally-friendly choice. The development of SUPERWOOD has received the EU Environmental Award. This honour is partly due to the fact that SUPERWOOD - in contrast to ordinary pressure-treated wood - never comes anywhere near heavy metals. This means that working with SUPERWOOD is like working with untreated wood.
